Edinboro University's intramural College Bowl tournament takes its name from the oldest and most honored collegiate quiz game in the nation. "G.E. College Bowl," sponsored by General Electric, ran on national television from 1959-1970. It won the Emmy and Peabody Awards, as well as a special Congressional commendation.
Edinboro held its first intramural tournament in November, 2007. We then sent a team to the Regional Tournament in February, 2008. Our players finished fourth among a highly competitive slate of opponents - an excellent showing for first-time participants.
