Why Edinboro Stands Out.

At Edinboro we not only prepare you to make a difference, but to build a career doing it. Choose from concentrations in school counseling, college counseling, clinical mental health counseling, clinical rehabilitation counseling or art therapy.

In many cases, you'll have the option to complete your classes on campus or online.

The mission of our program is simple: We strive to enhance the intellectual, cultural, social and ethical development of our graduate students.

We make that happen by emphasizing complete integration of theory, research and practice. By building these skills, you will be prepared to serve diverse communities and individuals in a wide variety of settings.

How Edinboro Supports You.

You will be mentored by faculty who are committed to providing developmentally sound academic and clinical experiences that help you become an effective leader and practitioner.

Alumni Success.

The Master of Arts in School Counseling program at Edinboro University is a quality program. The faculty are committed to preparing students to develop their leadership skills and learn to apply them professionally. Having some of the courses in my program offered online is highly beneficial and conducive to my schedule as a graduate assistant and president of the Graduate Student Council. The program has supplied me with the knowledge of ethics, theory, human development, and school counselor roles and functions. I am confident that I will graduate ready and prepared to be an advocate for the students I will work with.
